Billy Flanagan

Personal

I was born January 7, 1979 in San Jose, California. As the middle child of five, I knew from an early age that if I want something I couldn't wait for it to fall in my lap. Throughout the years I have kept that same mind-set, which has led me countless times to my mother’s native country of Colombia, South America, where I enjoy spending my time in the sun.

Experience

While attending San Jose State University, I was selected for an internship with College Works Painting. Over the course of two years as an intern, I received extensive training in all aspects of the painting business; from hiring painters to rolling up my sleeves and getting the job done myself. After graduating with a degree in International Business, and a minor in Spanish, I earned a painting contractors license and have been hard at work ever since.

Why I like painting houses

There are very few professions where you can see such positive results in such a short amount of time. As a person with a strong need for visual progress, I found a way to achieve that with painting. Also, I have a genuine interest in meeting and getting to know people. This profession affords me this opportunity daily.
